To those who didn’t forget: thanks for the birthday wishes! :) I treated myself to some Smarties and made an enquiry about a beautiful antiques tea cup, my B-Day gifts this year. I’m taking time for myself today trying to reflect on things, because it’s needed. If you keep facing the same disappointing situation then it might be time to change drastically.

Things would be so different if I had some choices… Hopefully September this year will be the start of that. I have an appointment next Monday to discuss ‘the change’ *wink*. Did you know that violet Smarties were previously dyed with cochineal, a scale insect from which the crimson-coloured dye carmine is derived? Don’t click link if you’re faint-hearted. *wink*

You seem to be very determined about making the changes happen, so I’m sure you’ll be rewarded :) And I do hear you about having to change the situation drastically if it’s repeatedly disappointing *note to self: be drastic! LOL

  7. I didn’t forget, i just didn’t know! Or did i? Did i forget? I am so not good with birthdays! I should get myself one of those oldfashioned corny birthday calendars all the Dutchies have hanging on the door of the small bathroom!

  8. I have alerts on my computer telling me when people have their birthday and I still manage to ignore or forget those *LOL* I only seem to remember my partner’s and close family birthdays. I’ve given up after so many years ;)
