Just Finished

I’m working on my business plan and this illustration (done in Illustrator) that I just finished is part of it… I won’t be posting here much coz I’ll be working hard and muchos this week but I just wanted to show this (sorry about the watermark: it’s necessary unfortunately!)

To those who know where to find my business website: my folio shows a clean version. I’ll probably -over time- add some flowers to this illustration, since I’m never really satisfied with anything I design *LOL*. I’ve finished some more but I can’t show these *just yet*.

I got in touch with a teacher of mine from the graphic design study I did years ago, he asked me if I was interested in a job near Amsterdam… Things are evolving for no apparent reason and I wonder if it has to do with my ‘plan’…

Either way I’m dead chuffed with all the positive stuff coming my way! *wink*

Natural Beauty

At times I don’t get the whole ‘beauty thing’… I don’t get Botox crap nor anyone who would want plastic waste in their body. I don’t get pancaked women wearing tight masks of makeup *wonder what it looks like in the morning!* and I don’t get women who curl their lashes…

I just read an article about the latest gadget, The Turbo Lashwand: a double-heating coil lash curler that reaches 60 degrees. *eeew* The thought of curling eyelashes makes me cringe… Forgive me, I just don’t get it. Don’t get me wrong I don’t mind a little eye makeup but…

I believe natural is best and I think nature is constantly proving this statement if you’re willing to look for the examples it’s showing you. I mean…, have a look at the pictures below, did you ever expect to see something so bright and colourful and so amazingly beautiful?

I didn’t… so here’s my tribute to natural, nature and beauty… It’s called a Splendid Fairywren and splendid it is! And guess what… It doesn’t even need a Turbo Lashwand…
