  1. I’m gonna have to read up on those technical terms ;-)
    New eyes… and freckles too?
Alright!! I was wondering for quite a while now about the cab deal.
I just might have to make a trip so I can ride in one :-)
(don’t be messing with those greys now)

  2. It’s a beautiful quick drying varnish… but you’ll see the result one day soon I hope [as soon as cold is gone :( ]. Eyes and freckles are new since 2006 but I’ve done more since which is not visible here. You still have the outdated business card *hehe* See what I mean? It needs adjusting :)

Cab deal: I went there on Sunday and ripped out the sticker that was in the cab, so I can use that as a template. I was waiting for him to send me the measurements but scanning the sticker is a much more accurate way especially since it’s not a rectangular shape, the corners and top are rounded.

But I need a catch phrase now *hehe* and a better portfolio on my website :-O

    So: more extra work…

  3. To me it sounds very exciting, you’re one of the lucky people that actually have a really interesting job :) Besides I’ve always really loved listening to people talking about about something they were enthusiastic about, I could probably even listen to someone talking about quantum physics if the person would seem thrilled enough :D Although I find your field of work much much more appealing than quantum physics, of course LOL

  4. Hi Bitter Chocolate, thank you :) I am really enjoying the work I’m doing although it can be extremely stressful too, especially when you have to deal with the client from hell so you really need to find the balance.
At times the aggravation that someone is causing isn’t worth doing the job and I’ve met a few with that attitude lately which was a steep learning curve but these days I tell them ‘no’ and it doesn’t take me that long anymore to see the red flags.
I understand what you’re saying about enthusiastic people, I also enjoyed reading your post about the preparations for Spain, I could read your perseverance and enthusiasm in each word :) I hope you’ll hear something soon, it would be a great opportunity!

  5. I loved the drawing :)
Where would I put the ad in the cab? left :)
I can just imagine how beautiful your business cards will be.
    Have a nice weekend T. :)

  6. Thanks Wen! :) I have to say it’s the old one still, I’ve done some more fine-tuning and restyling and it starts to look better, the one here is a quickie that I used for my website in 2006. I’ll put the new one online when it’s done :)
Left huh? I was thinking the same thing… I’m curious why you chose left ;) I have a strategy because left is where most enter and leave the cab since it’s the side that is near the pavement. Also people get out first [on the left side] and then hand the money to the driver through the window, so I think left is the best option to have my advert noticed ;)
I could send you one if you like, once I’ve had them printed? Have a beautiful weekend too! :)

  7. Thanks! I would love you to send me one when printed! :)
I chose left because of the same reason that people get in the cab from that side as it is the British way of driving as here :)
    Have a nice Sunday,

  8. :) My pleasure! Silly but I didn’t realise people drive on the left side there as well *hehe* my mistake because I do know that Malta used to be part of the ‘British empire’. I asked a few more people and they all said left as well… So left it will be :)
Thanks for your input Wen, hope you had a good weekend!!!

  9. Thanks! That was still the old one, I’ve touched it up and gave her a blouse or jacket to wear *hehe* I’ll show you when it’s done :)
