Icing On The Cake

I received a gift from a sweetheart this morning when I woke up, one that made me smile from ear to ear! The softest white fuzzy blanket you can imagine. A blanket that clings to branches, telephone lines, plants. Enchanting and glistening, covering my world in a pretty untouched white for me to photograph and enjoy. Causing a sense of childhood elation… *thank you!*

How I would love to shake those trees and have a snow shower!

Blossom covered in icing sugar…

Telephone lines

  1. After all these months it finally arrives?
Hope ya went out and shook some branches :-)
Looks like good snowball snow too ;-)
(now where did I put that sledge?)

  2. Jim: beautiful hey? Yes… after all those months but it was worth waiting for! No I didn’t go out… I’m waiting for company to go out and shake some trees, it’s not fun on your own :)
    (sledge: YAY!)

  3. No snow here erghhh, oh well I’ll just enjoy the sunlight and flowers blossoming. I would love to have a snowfight someday, just to have the feeling of it.

  4. hmmmm. . . now who was it kept wanting me to go out for the last several months for non-fun without company ;-)

I hope the white didn’t stunt those blossoms. . . I keep watching for them outside my door. . . any day now :-)

  5. Reuben, it never crossed my mind that you might not have snow out there, I feel embarrassed now… Silly me… You don’t want a snowball landing inside your collar when it’s freezing, trust me ;)

  6. Thanks Wen :)

Snow feels cold and wet *hehe* and is only fun every now and then… I prefer your lovely sunshine to be honest :)

  7. Hi :)
I can’t seem to be able to leave comments in your latest post :)
Sorry to hear about your mouse. Good luck with all your projects! I know what you mean re the boat…I went to Sicily last year, the weather was dreadful and I got dizzy, I went to the toilet to puke many times :(
I had thought about that channel that you mentioned. It must be scary but exciting.
    Have a lovely week :)

  8. I wanted to bring you a nice fuzzy fleece blanket to wrap up in… I guess it’s virtual.
Um, I wanted to say though… I don’t like feeling lonely, and I do alot. :( Hugs sweetie, miss you much.
    Monica

  9. Wen: Hi Wen, I turned off comments on that post… you got me ;)
Thank you for your sweet comment though, I’ve been so extremely busy I didn’t have time to visit anyone and will be off tomorrow morning. Sorry to hear about your Sicily adventure: it sounds horrible, just like mine, sorry you had to go through all that! Hope it didn’t last for 6 hours ;)
The tunnel is scary in a way, yes, but it only takes 40 minutes and you can’t really tell that you’re under water *hehe* Keep yer fingers crossed ;)
Monica: Hi dear friend, thank you for the warm, cosy blanket *hug*. Virtual can be as good as real and I know it comes from a good heart so, thank you for the wonderful gift :)
I’m sorry you feel lonely, I have been visiting you but thought you might wanted some time for you… I shouldn’t assume though. I know you could use some hugs too!!! I’ll be back soon k? And thank you for missing me… *you know what I mean ;) *
    Hugs back at you!
