I had a presentation yesterday which went really well, I wrote earlier that I was asked to design an accountancy website but last week I was also unexpectedly asked to design a website offering accountancy courses which is a far more extensive one. So while I was ill I worked on a presentation website. The client wasn’t aware of this until yesterday because I didn’t want to make him promises that I might not be able to keep while being ill. I guess it paid off because in his words: he was chuffed…
We agreed on a fee that made me smile from ear to ear: I now have two websites to finish by the end of this month *hehe* All else is on hold for the moment and I’ll reply to emails over the weekend! Sorry… but I’m sure you’ll understand that this is a great opportunity. I’ve been checking out stock photography online, how time-consuming that is. I know it’s something I need to do but I’d rather spend time on the actual design and build the Flash animations and banners. I so love what I do when I get the appreciation that I deserve.
I sure am a zesty gal today *hehe*
Yeah!!!

Chuffed? More of that island lingo?
Wait a minute…. my dictionary actually has that.
But of course, its Oxford.
And according to it, I can now say I am dead chuffed to hear all the good news!!
Keep on being Zesty
Do I have to remind you that you’re on an island as well? It’s just slightly bigger
I’m trying to be Zesty but I’m distracted by a sweet distraction and it ain’t no pancake :-O
Dead chuffed huh? *LOL* You’re funny
Hooray for you!
Thank you

You’ll be the first I’ll reply to this Saturday
Didn’t forget about you!
Did I use it improperly?

No you didn’t use it improperly at all :-*
Slightly: I was teasing you…
I know girl, don’t worry about it. Being busy is a good thing!
Way to go! I know it’s so tough to work while ill… but it’s not something everyone has dedication for. You deserve kudos!
I’m so happy for you!
What is “chuffed”? I think I’d like to use that word…
Thanks Monica!
Yes you’re so right: it’s tough but I was so eager to get this done and try to get the job. Chuffed… *LOL* I noticed Ismoyo used it in her post and I wonder if her readers will understand, it’s Brit English *hehe* but it sounds nice doesn’t it?
