I went to see my client yesterday; they’d asked me to train some of the staff on how to use the eCommerce website that I built for them a while ago. The website hasn’t been live yet but they’re now waiting for the new collections to come in. They’ll launch it this Spring season with all brand new products. I’m going to help them with the product pictures so hopefully it will go live before the end of May.
While I was busy with the design of their labels last week they asked me to come up with a brand new logo design as well. I didn’t understand why they wanted to change it but they told me yesterday that ever since the redesign of the website they wanted to use the opportunity to change strategies. It keeps getting better: they’re so happy with the new logo that it’ll be used for branding in combination with the website design.
I’m absolutely chuffed about the whole thing because it literally means my design will be on each and every item that they’ll produce which are all leather products: jackets, gloves, skirts, bags, belts etc. sold at high street shops and fashion boutiques. The website url will be printed on each and every product as well. We’re talking about quantities with over six zeros here… can you imagine how it makes me glow?
In a few weeks I’ll be doing the new Spring catalogue. There’s another exciting thing in the pipeline that might involve a partly change in career but I’ll write about that when the time is right. I went home yesterday with a brand new soft green leather jacket and two pair of beautiful and sexy long gloves *SO my style!!!* They’re unique items because they’re design samples: only one in the world. Talking of which… it seems my oyster lately!

Very glad for you girl
The world is definitely your oyster
Have a lovely week amiga,
Wen
Very cool! I’d like to see the designs when they are ready.
The photos remind me of Bladerunner!
Thank you!

Yes I’m very happy about things, it’s just really cool to see your design on labels in shops. It’s something I never expected to happen and the funny thing is that it all started with a website design *hehe* There’s more to come still but I’ll write about that when the time is right
Have a wonderful week too Wen!!!
I would have to send them to you: I try to keep this personal blog well separated from the business side, I’ll figure out a way to show you
I have the business cards here but I don’t have a printed sample of the labels yet, they’re probably still in China somewhere *hehe* But I can send you the website url when it’s live if you like?
The photos are cool, aren’t they? Yes I can see some Bladerunner effect there, it’s the girl and the way they’ve styled her hair in the second photo
T. – so wonderful your work is! Dalton said it reminded of Bladerunner and I agree.
You are so talented! Hugs sweetie!
Thanks, Monica *smiling from ear to ear* I’m blushing now… *hehe*
