Didn’t do much last couple of days. Have been checking out Photoshop filters and bought a few as well, I’m addicted to those… very expensive hobby but so much fun to use! I’ve been building something yesterday and couldn’t stop till A. came home…
Here’s a preview, and I just realised that I need an A3 printer [color] now so I can update my portfolio… and Christiaan… you were right, my G5 is much faster but I noticed that it’s still not fast enough so A. now wants to buy mine and he told me to get the latest…
He’s totally converted to Mac since he bought some expensive firewire apparatus to connect his drum machine to his PC *aye, curse… curse…* The Mac had no problem at all but the other machine which-name-shall-be-unspoken had some. Conclusion, he needs a Mac and wants one [or two].
I will have to think it over since I’m not too keen on buying a first release… Anyway here’s my picture, there’s not much detail left because it’s A3/300 dpi and I had to resize it, but you’ll get the overall impression. Now I need to look up how to get to Mac Expo tomorrow…

International Transfer
I managed to find all the info online to transfer money from the Lowlands to the UK. It’s not as simple as it sounds though. You need to know all sorts of banking codes, IBAN and Swift or BIC codes and if you make one mistake then you end up paying for the trouble it caused. Literally!
I’m paying someone at a bank to sort out my payment problem, not exactly cheap though, so you’re better off sorting out the necessary info before you make the payment. I now transferred money into my UK account but some day in the near future I would like to transfer money into my Euro account too and I reckon that will be far more complicated for me.
I really need to read certain things twice before I actually understand what they are talking about on the website. Yes I have online banking over here too which comes in very handy, but I reckon the moment I will have to transfer money to the Lowlands I probably won’t do that in three minutes even though I have all the codes and such available already [yes I wrote them down somewhere safe].
The systems over here are somewhat, *hmmm how shall I put it* ‘behind’ would be a good way to describe it, so I need twenty codes and passwords to log on to the website but hey, it works with Safari and I can’t say that for my Lowlands banking website, that keeps telling me Safari is a non supported browser… So I guess there are positives and negatives on both ends…
PS, I’m feeling a wee bit better, fever is gone I think
